The late Reverend Jackson was a great friend to the labor movement and CWA Local 1037. He probably walked more picket lines than almost any other public figure in history, and joined Local 1037 workers striking for better working conditions over multiple decades. He believed that all workers’ liberation was bound together. We honor his legacy by continuing the fight. This photo was taken at the CWA Rally for Bargaining Rights & Budget Fairness in Military Park, Newark, June 1, 2011.
