Michael J. Hopkins Memorial Scholarship Recipients

We are honored to announce the recipients of the Michael J. Hopkins Memorial Scholarship for the 2025/2026 academic year. This scholarship was established in loving memory of former CWA Local 1037 President Michael Hopkins, whose fearless leadership and passion for workers rights continues to inspire CWA Local 1037.

The Scholarship was open to all active and retired CWA Local 1037 Members, their spouses, children and grandchildren who are pursuing secondary education, technical school, or on-going adult education. As part of the scholarship consideration, applicants submitted an essay detailing their goals, connection to the labor movement, personal experiences, and how the award would support their journey.
