Dear Local 1037 Member,

You have spoken! We are pleased to announce that the tentative agreement was overwhelmingly ratified by a vote of the members. We now have a Contract that runs from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2023. The vote totals are:

In less than a year we have secured a second agreement with the administration of Governor Murphy; once again backed by a strong vote of support from members statewide. Local 1037 members supported the agreement with a 97% YES vote.

We are proud of the gains that have been achieved through our collective efforts: providing substantial savings in contributions toward health care while maintaining high quality coverage, making strong advances in wages, and strengthening our job security and other contractual language for everyone.

Thank you to the staff and Shop Stewards of Local 1037 who did an incredible job turning out a strong yes vote. A special thank you to the thousands of members who voted and who continue to stand in solidarity with the Local – a tradition we have carried forward for over 37 years. Let’s always remain proud of our Local and the work we do together.
