Save Our Parks

• ALL STATE PARK WORKERS: if you could email Molly so she has your email addresses and can keep you updated on upcoming events and the Save Our Parks Website, that would be great.

• Join Molly’s Hike from High Point to Trenton

• See how the Campout at the Capital on Wednesday went!

• Get the PETITION signed

• Sign up to get petitions signed and to do leafleting in May (fax this form to the Local)

• Write hand written letters to your two Assembly members and one State Senator demanding that they restore funding to the parks. Don’t padlock our parks!

• Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper expressing outrage about closing state parks. (Don’t talk about cutting other services instead. Write about supporting public services.)

• Have a union meeting once a week at every park where the parks staff goes over this list and makes sure that everyone is doing everything that they can. No one is exempt. It doesn’t matter that your park isn’t targetted.

• Anything (editorials, letters, etc.) that you write, any stories you have about parks being closed (fond memories, etc.) and any pictures of parks or yourselves and your families in parks, please email to tech@cwa1037.org so we can put it up on our website, SAVENJPARKS.BLOGSPOT.COM

• Don’t stop. Do something every day that promotes our plan to protect State Parks. Don’t be afraid. Keep fighting. Don’t give up, no matter what you hear.
