Our
It is the mission of Loving Hands, Inc. to support people with
developmental disabilities by assisting them to identify their needs, desires
and necessary supports to assure they reach their full potential while
participating as contributing members of their communities.
In addressing our Mission
Loving Hands places great value and focus on
providing personalized services at all organizational levels of the agency from
direct care staff and contractors to the Director. Loving Hands focuses
continually on "building bridges" between the individuals we serve
and community members, to increase natural, unpaid relationships.
We view ourselves as partners with those we serve
and their families – our focus is to support, not supplant natural
relationships. To this end, we work with individuals and their families to make
informed choices and respect those choices.
Our History
Loving
Hands, Inc. was founded in 1986 by a group of loving parents for their
developmentally disabled children. Through the hard work of our staff and
families we have grown to 6 group homes and 1 day program in
Beginning in 2008, the Employee of the Month
will be receiving a $25 gift card from Wallmart
